TEACHING NATIVE AMERICAN CULTURE
SPONSORING A NATIVE AMERICAN CHILD is an extremely rewarding experience.   We learn from one another,  and  share friendship with love.

This was a memorable event, which has lasted twenty years and we are still in contact with one another, together with his family.

Met this young Navajo boy  when he was six years old through Futures for Children   Traveled to Chinle, Arizona to meet he and his family after corresponding for over a year.  Then on to the Intertribal and back.  There were several trips to that area, including one to witness his graduation from grade school.  Many photographs during that era, and happy moments in excessive amounts.

This memorable attachment to a good friend has enriched my life to the fullest.    The letters were interesting, as well as his life experiences which he generously shared with me.   He married a beautiful Navajo girl, bore children and accepted his responsibilities with a high degree of honor.  He has, and is,  excelling with his carreer and hobbies, he has no tight ropes of  insecurites and am extremely proud of the little boy from Chinle.
