I have enjoyed looking at all the different pages here and on your links. I am wondering if you are Native American and what tribe. My daughter-in-law is Choctaw. We are addicted to casinos, and there are many in OK and KS that we go to. The Cherokee Casino and Resort in Tulsa is beautiful. Our favorite is in Cherokee, NC.

I'm of Native American descent, am getting my certificate of Indianship this year with the Choctaw tribe. I have been told of an energy being who is visiting me that I thought you might recognize. His name is Sogren or Saugren, I'm not sure of the spelling. He is an ancient shaman I believe. If you have heard of him or know someone who might have please let me know. I love your site and will be visiting often. Thanks for your dedication and hard work. Barb

I have found many beautiful photographs of Chiefs but there is a particular one that I am looking for that I can't find. I do not know the Chief's name or tribe, only what the photograph looks like. A friend of mine has the photograph and I would sincerely like to have it for my home. I have been told that my family has some Choctaw and some Cherokee heritage. I have always felt a deep connection and love for the Native American people and the old way of life. Only through the teachings that I have been able to find in special books and have been told by Native Americans that I have met have I found any understanding about many things. We are all one and the Great Spirit has led my heart, eyes, and ears to this conclusion. If you know of some way that I can find photographs that I can compare to the one I have seen, then I can truly honor His memory in my home.

Greetings, I am just flying through. This site is an educational tool for many people. Those who view it have the opportunity to learn. It is of course... their option. In order to learn, you must have the desire to learn. It is not the diplomas on your wall that make you "educated." It is the people you meet, the places you visit, and the willingness to learn from all The People as you pass through this life. ~ Kicking Eagle

I enjoyed your page As I See It. I remember learning about so much of this many years ago in school. It is history that we can not deny. I see no reason why anyone should have any negative thoughts about this page.

I have visited for a short time and I will return. This site educates many people, and this is good. We must all be proud of our heritage, our culture, and our individuality; but there are many who know nothing of their heritage. My answer to them is this: You had nothing to do with who you were when you came into this world... but you have everything to do with who you become before you leave. You can become anyone and anything, so make it someone and something GOOD. History is engraved in stone. You cannot change it; I cannot change it. But we can all learn from it, stand together, and use that knowledge to change the prospects for the future. Wani'shi, Eagle
